"Your life is the TRUE testament to your skill as a Martial Artist, not your rank or your trophies."
~Grandmaster Allen A. Abad, Kajukenbo
What To Wear
For your first few classes, wear comfortable clothing you can work out in, such as sweat pants or athletic pants and a T-shirt (no shorts, please). We practice in bare feet on a padded floor. Once you decide Kajukenbo is for you, we can order you a black “gi” which is the Kajukenbo uniform.
What To Expect
You will learn basic forms and techniques from your very first class. Our teachers and students are happy to share their knowledge with you! You never need to worry that you won’t know what to do next. Someone will always be there to help you become familiar with the rituals of the dojo and to answer any questions you have as you go along.
"If you always put limits on everything you do, physical or anything else, it will spread into your work and into your life. There are no limits. There are only plateaus, and you must not stay there, you must go beyond them."
